CURRENT UPDATE: THE DOG IS IN THE HOUSE BECAUSE OF THIS VIDEO! WE WILL BE NOTIFIED IF/WHEN THEY THROW HER BACK OUT. BUT FOR NOW, YOUR WORK HAS SAVED HER, THANK YOU! I just found out her name is Jasmine. This poor old lab who has lived chained to her doghouse on Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg, Pa for her entire life. Because she’s an ‘outside dog.’ The term ‘outside dog’ doesn’t exist. It’s a regular dog just like every other dog who an uncaring human forced to live isolated, alone, cold, thirsty, and hungry outside. I’m told humane officers have been there numerous and repeated times over the years…but usually she is within the law. And the law doesn’t protect chained dogs. Even when it’s 2 degrees fahrenheit outside? No, it doesn’t. I can’t even sleep for thinking about her. What will it take to save her before it’s too late? Angry mob? Picketing the woman’s house? A caring soul who is forced to commit a CRIME in order to bring her even a few days of happiness before deaths comes for her? What will it take? You tell me. Legislators, you go on and on about the current laws being enough. Really? So this poor old dog being chained outside in 2 degree weather doesn’t bother you at all? Then you don’t have a soul. Please help this dog before it’s too late. Chaining your dog for life IS cruelty. It is Abuse. And it should be a CRIME. What will it take, Pennsylvania?
