U 96 est un projet de production allemand de techno-house créé en 1991 à Hambourg
par ALEX CHRISTENSEN (D.J., né le 07/04/1967 à Hambourg, ex-CHOCOLATE).

Inspiré par le film “U Boat 96″ de WOLFGANG PETERSEN, U 96 cartonnera avec “DAS BOOT”
(n°1 en Allemagne le 06/02/1992 pour pas moins de 12 semaines et en Suisse).

En 1994, ALEX produit PRINCE ITAL JOE et recrute DAISY DEE (chant, ex-TECHNOTRONIC) pour U 96.
En 1996, la nouvelle vocaliste est DEA-LI…
