Silver Dogs is a short film that approaches how divorce effects pets, especially pets in their golden years. As a foster home for the local Weimaraner rescue I had noticed that a large number of the dogs that are surrendered to the rescue are products of divorce. This is especially heartbreaking for the older dogs. I hope to raise awareness for pets in this situation as well as create a fun, entertaining film. Although this film is not a documentary, the premise of the film was inspired by the story of two Weimaraners that we are currently fostering.

Short synopsis:
Silver Dogs is a short film about a recently divorced stand-up comedian, homeless and living in his car, who struggles after his ex-wife forces him to take their two geriatric Weimaraners.
