A 7-week-old yellow Labrador puppy named Kahlua walked down stairs for the first time with encouragement from his owner.

“We filmed this video a month shy of Kahlua’s 2-month birthday to teach him how to handle stairs,” the owner said.

The owner noted that it isn’t recommended to allow puppies to go up or down stairs until they’re at least 4 months old.

He only allowed Kahlua to go down stairs for this video and said that was the last time for a while.

This video was filmed in January 2016.
